Chestnut Hills
The neighborhood of Chestnut Hills is located off of Six Forks Road in Midtown Raleigh in the North Hills area. Convenient access to the inner beltline makes commutes to RDU, PNC arena, and other Raleigh hotspots quick and easy.
Located nearby is North Hills shopping center with restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. The neighborhood is within walking distance to Shelley Lake. North Hills and Eastgate parks are just a minutes away, and the Capitol Area Greenway is easily accessible.
In recent years, there has been a high demand for housing in this area, however, many of the homes in Chestnut Hills were built before 1960. Since around 2006, builders have torn down dozens of ranch houses and small two-story houses in the area to make way for bigger, fancier homes. With land scarce in the area, builders expect the infill trend in Chestnut Hills will continue.
